Why is samantha so stupid

I find faults in both parties. Having said that, I do enjoy some of these "satire" news shows. The Colbert Report, when it aired, was always quality television. I gave Full Frontal a shot due to the lack of females that have this type of platform to see a different take from the opposite sex. However, as a male who is all for equal rights for women, I find the "you can't ever criticize a woman" bias from Samantha Bee a bit aggravating after a while.

There's a couple examples of this. The first is the episode about dating in the workplace. While I agree with the overall message that sexual harassment and assault in the workplace is wrong and inappropriate, it seemed to leak into "even asking out a fellow coworker on a date is wrong", which shrieks of hypocrisy seeing that Samantha Bee herself met her husband through the workplace.

Yes, no means no and move on if you ask someone out and they say no, but it got a bit sketchy. The bigger, more annoying example is when she was discussing the debate between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. She shows a clip of Bernie raising up his arm and asking Hillary not to interrupt him.

She uses it as an example to show how big of a "misogynist" Bernie Sanders is, when in reality it was a debate and anyone would do this if they were interrupted, no matter what gender they are. It just shows that Samantha Bee supports Hillary almost purely on gender alone, and that is another type of sexism in and of itself. There are parts of the show that I love, like how she shows how important mid-term and local elections are in the overall framework of the electoral process, and the videos they make I think are very well done, but some of the semi-extreme feminist propaganda gets a bit much at times.

Again, I'm all for women having equal rights, but equal is not the same as special, and Full Frontal at times seems to forget that. So again all the butthurt conservatives have come out to try and tank this show. Samantha bee is just brilliant and really helps you to see the truth for yourself. Not to be missed. Please stop telling her she is funny, she's not. Please stop telling her she can act, she can't. Samantha Bee is what pops up after you cut off Kathy Griffin's head.

Kamau Bell". I hope it sticks around for longer, it's a real breath of fresh air and great to see a woman in amongst the dude-dominated TV schedules. What an unfunny, nasty, hateful person she is. If Trump wasn't in office, she'd literally have nothing to talk about. I don't vote for president. I don't emotionally invest in the process whatsoever. I remove myself and try to pull the objective truth out all of it. This tho, is unbelievable. The entire ep i happened to catch was making fun of trump.

That isn't an exaggeration, the entire thing which culminated in climbers proving they could climb over the same wall DT is building. I get it, orange man bad. This is branded as "comedy news", of which there is none. Regardless of political leanings, It really scares me if people regularly watch this program. Reality has gotten so polarized if I point out an objective fact that happens to look good for trump, I must be a trump supporter, one of two extremes, no middle ground.

Show such as this are exactly why. Divide and conquer. Project Mockingbird. Mk Ultra. This show is awful!! Just not funny, it's full of hate. The fact that TBS has kept this show on almost makes me want to stop watching any turner broadcasting channels all together. Almost all of her jokes fall flat every time. This show is more like political propaganda than anything else. This woman is full of hate. I can't even watch reruns of my favorite show without having to see her hate filled commercials. I am certain there are those on the Left that love this show. Some of them have likely convinced themselves it is a fair accounting of what is going on.

Of course they are wrong, but like the Right, they want to believe there are two points of view, their own and wrong. She mentions Joan Rivers and reminds me that her memory goes back far enough to remember a time before Netflix. But why is she the only one today? To create and appreciate satire in a messed-up world, you need a certain level of knowledge. What are you going to talk about? Who are you going to talk to — other people who are also boring?

Bee got her start in Toronto, and stayed on the comedy scene there for 10 years before getting a break in , when, according to Stewart, he got lost in the time before Sat-Nav and ended up in Canada. He was so taken by her comedy that he loaded her into the boot of his car and carried her across the border, surrounded by Mounties. Despite her success in the US, Bee insists you can be funny anywhere, and that New York City does not have to be the centre of the circuit.

You have to love comedy — the thing itself. Her comments were not in a private tweet or facebook post but part of a very public and popular show. Ted, its time to take action. I appreciate a good roast of politicians on both sides of the isle. She unfortunately is a one trick boring pony with the Trump stuff. So wore out of it. Does she have anything else? First couple of jokes were funny, but now it's just sad.

Get some class TBS I'm a liberal, and yet to laugh during this show I truly start with an open mind every single time the show is on, and I just don't crack a smile! I love comedy, this show is just not funny, and quite honestly I don't know way. The delivery of the jokes, the high pitch voice, the screaming, I'm not sure.

Samantha Bee's show is offensive, it's difficult enough to be an Afro-Cuban and conservative in this politically charged atmosphere. To listen to the obvious lies and bias opinions of the host is beneath TBS. I think there are Plenty of Woman who can host a Late-night show, I think all it would take to be a hit is a political centrist who can deliver the jokes like Jay Leno.

She has no material other than what CNN has already said. Not knowing what to expect going into this show, I was incredibly surprised. I wasn't surprised about the shows blatant bias, as practically all late night shows fall into the "extremely liberal" category.

As for me I find it stale and passe … Expand. This show is just a liberal rant by a middle aged hater. It's so insulting and one sided I change the channel even when a commercial for it comes on. It just goes to show how whacked the media critics are that they like this weak drivel that takes every cheap shot they can. It's amazing how uninformed Bee is. She's an embarrassment to women, to tbs, to America and to humans in general. She's also vulgar, wrong, disgusting, classless and has no grace.

A truly ugly person in every way. Amazing to have a women in Late Night with wits and humor and who's not afraid to make fun of anyone. Samantha Bee is genius and is backed by a great team that should keep the show running for hopefully as long as her legendary Daily Show run. Constantly ripping on the prez is getting old.

I am excited to have this new program on my watch list. Since Jon Stewart left, there has been a sincere void in edgy comedy news delivery.
