Darkmoon faire how many tickets per week

The setup of the event takes an entire weekend and you can take part in it at the start of the following Monday and take your time to complete as many quests as possible until Sunday.

Darkmoon Faire appears on the first Friday of every month, rotating between Horde and Alliance. It opens the following Monday and closes the Sunday after that. This gives players a week out of every month to visit the Faire. The Darkmoon Faire is in town one week out of every month with heirlooms, spooky toys, battle pets, and transmog gear to acquire! Highlights include: Replica vanilla WoW dungeon armor for transmogrification.

Mounts, pets, and toys to purchase for your collections. Most heirloom pieces cost 50 tickets apiece so with the fishing quest, you can get two.

The heirloom gun, bow, and polearm costs 75 tickets. Once you enter the Faire, spend 30 seconds on either the carousel or rollercoaster, which will grant you the WHEE!

The Impressive Influence reputation buff returns for the month of September, including the Patch 8. As this buff lasts for the month of September, does it mean that the Shadowlands pre-patch is in early October? Impressive Influence is a reputation buff applied to all player characters that increases rep gain with Legion and Battle for Azeroth factions.

It was announced on April 17, and scheduled to run from April 20 through May 18, As of patch 5. I get bored waiting to drown. A suggestion: you might clarify that the total possible tickets per week is lower for lower level toons: 25 less for toons under 85 because of the two artifact quests that require level 85 , another 3 less for toons because you can't train Archaeology until 20 and it's much lower for a toon under 15 because none of the artifact quests are available - I think it will be 62, but I'm not sure if there are any other limits that apply at low levels.

Some people have said you can get an extra 5 if DMF starts at, say, midnight, but daily quest reset is at , and you do the mini-game quests during that brief time on the first morning. But I don't know if that is still possible. I think they might have made DMF start at daily quest reset time now.

Very impressed with the thorough descriptions and concise instructions. You get my vote! The joke is that the game is Whack-A-Gnoll a. So it's a baby gnoll, common gnoll and Hogger awesome gnoll.

Though now that you point it out the in-game puppets do look like horses I've been gone from WoW for a chunk of time, and when I came back I come to learn that Darkmoon Fair was completely reworked. I couldn't of been more lost, although thanks to this I have a pretty good idea of what to do, and it covers just about everything there is to do.

So if you keep the buff from Faire to Faire, you'll only need 1 ticket. Also you can save Darkmoon Top Hat for after DMF, by not looting them from the boxes, as long as you keep them in the box, they won't disappear, but when you do take them out, normal rules apply, disappear if logged out, or die while using.

A change happened at some point, now the Top Hats are only usable during DMF no more stashing 50 when its over to keep the buff. Comment by I have my eye on several items for sale at the Darkmoon Faire using Darkmoon tickets.

I am wondering what level is required to get into the faire? I don't have to spell out what I am thinking. Unfortunately, the faire just ended so I can't test out my theories. I am trying to maximize the number of tickets I can get. I already know the "Darkmoon Game Prize" is not bound and can be sent to my other chars. I am sure there is something that would stop me from doing what I am thinking of doing.

It can't be that easy, can it? I think I can create 11 chars on a single realm. You do the math. So, just tell me what is wrong with my theory so I can move on to other things. Comment by Minernolan Nice guide! It's very detailed and pretty much answers all the questions I'd have for the Darkmoon Faire! Comment by furdude2 "Fun Fact" :D the Gnolls not horses face you when they come up, i. Comment by Good guide - thanks!

Comment by perculia Will be happy to resticky the guide when updated for 6. Comment by free2bmenow Very well done guide. I use it as a reminder every time I go to the faire. I do have one thing you might want to add in way of explanation. Profession Quest Archeology Yes, you can buy crates from the MOP spirit of harmony vendor, it takes 3 spirits to purchase one crate.

It may take more than one crate to get the 15 fragments needed for the quest. Additionally, if your archeology is not you can not trade the box in to Brann Bronzebeard - it requires lvl archeology. Comment by OmegaTou Thank you for making this guide. It was very helpful when I needed to upgrade my heirlooms. The guide simply says that they can be found in all major cities, but I'm searching all around Darnassus and I can't find one anywhere.

That's probably the quickest way to Darkmoon Isle from Darnassus now. Lots of information I wasn't aware of. DMF actually helped out when I wanted to take my Alt in dungeons..

My valor points were just spent upgrading my mains gear and I didnt really know the importance of BOA gear but a guildmate suggested I go purchase BOA gear from the Faire with prize tickets! Who would have thought.. Comment by bogmore Your hogger game guide says the second one is a horse, it's not it's a Riverpaw Gnoll.

Comment by ikoala One thing I don't get But not among the daily quests. So, 6 quests per day for 7 days nets 42 tickets. Comment by Razzeltov If nothing else, the profession portion of this guide makes it great. Easy to see exactly what each of my alts need for a quick boost. Thank You! Comment by donotpay Nice. Does anyone know if Blizzard plans to fix the bugs? I could go on, but I think I'll just go. Comment by Starlett Fantastic guide! Kudos :. Comment by nomsidious I wanted to thank you for a great guide.

EDIT: kissashark. Ty, you are correct btw. Your comment and a little more research confirmed it for me:. Comment by lahtinen Hi there - awesome guide, love it, will defo be recommending it to others! Comment by Derpthor If you're playing on a free account, it may be worth your while to do all the profession quests.

It can take a while, since you have to level each one up to 75 to do the quests, only to drop the profession afterward and pick up a new one. However, if you finish every single one not including Archaeology you'll have a total of 53 tickets out of the quests instead of the 20 that the guide suggests.

Comment by Zugetz I noticed in the pet battle vids the author is using a different UI for the pet battle than the default. Anyone know what add-on it is? Comment by Knorf First of all, Kissashark, cudos for a great guide. A real help for all that wants to get most out of the DMF. To add to your guide, there is great news for all that are hunting for tickets! Note: This daily is only completable one time a day per account , so make sure you complete it on the character that you're collecting tickets on.

Comment by voodoopimp It doesn't seem to have been mentioned specifically, but with the extra tickets from the pet battles it's now possible to get tickets on one character per week, which is just enough to get one of the mounts the most expensive prizes.

Pre characters can get up to tickets, unfortunately not quite enough for the 2h heirlooms. Try buying the quest items either in the middle of a month, or in the middle of the faire week.

Comment by McGrignr For those using every alt available to buy lots of Darkmoon items in a week, keep this in mind. I used all 11 characters I had on a server to save up tickets for and buy most of the heirlooms I was missing during one Darkmoon week, and then I had the idea to save up for and buy replica Lightforge for my panda warrior the following month, because nostalgia or something. I got enough on my level 90 shaman and 65 DK to buy a few pieces, then I go to my 42 warlock to buy another piece: "You must be level 54 to purchase this item.

Not having the requisite armor proficiency isn't a problem my mail-wearing shaman could purchase the plate armor just fine , but being too low a level is, even if it's not intended for use on the particular alt with the tickets that's doing the purchase. So, basically, you need alts to be at least level to purchase pieces of replica Dungeon Set 1 armor, and at least level 60 to purchase replica Dungeon Set 2.

This obviously doesn't apply to buying heirlooms, as they're all usable from level 1. I presume the mounts would require level 20, but if you're stockpiling tickets on one alt, they're most likely that far along anyway. Comment by stickshift I had some old mail, plate and weap heirlooms sitting in banks that I had no reason to burn these "upgrade-to" tickets on since my wearers were all lvl Glad I hung on to them because Blizz recently gave the go-ahead for us to mail BoA stuff to characters in other realms horde or alliance!

So if you've been stockpiling Prize Tickets you can bump your BoA's to 85 and mail them cross-realm in the following manner; toonsname-realmname note the dash My Crusader enchant stuck on my Hardened Arcanite Reaper after I mailed it, but I can't speak for the transmog I would imagine you lose that. If you forget to enchant your stuff before mailing to your tiny toons, just send it back.

Make sure that you Upgrade before you Enchant or else you'll lose the enchant. This seems almost too good to be real, but there ya are.

Comment by lecanard2 i get these ticks like a kid just opened the machine at chucke cheese, any currensy out there you know canard got it, full set of darkmoon cards from ,hmu. Comment by Patrick43 So we can't combine all tickets from all your toons and give them to one? They also can be stored in personal bank or a guild bank until next months 'faire. Mail the 'boxes' to one Char. Shift click to see what is in the Game Prize without opening it. Sadly the Darkmoon Faire had just ended 20 minutes prior :.

Comment by nirv I don't get it. But on my main character it auto loots the Darkmoon Prize contents whether I'm holding shift or not, whether I delete the WTF folder, or even when I remove all addons, yet it isn't behaving that way on two of my alts despite the same settings. I can't pinpoint why it's behaving this way. I want to open the prizes one by one and send any experience buff items to alts but it just keeps auto looting no matter what I do and I don't know how to fix it.

It didn't do this last month when Darkmoon Faire was opened last. What the hell changed and how do I fix it? Edit: I see what happened. Blizzard changed something between the last Darkmoon and this one because I used to be able to open the prizes without pulling out the Darkmoon ticket but now, even when holding shift, it will pull the ticket out and add it to your currency automatically.

If there is an additional item in the container and you're holding shift, it will consume the ticket but leave the other item in the container. It didn't do that before. Why would you do this? Because the prize box itself is not BoP, so it is tradable. One of my prizes had a Darkmoon Balloon in it so I traded it to my cousin and he was able to add it to his pet list without a problem. Comment by Aaahead If you're looking to turn Darkmoon Prize Ticket s into gold, you should buy either transmog armor or pets to sell on the auction house or directly to other players.

The Darkmoon Faire pets need to be learned and then caged to sell or trade them. Many of the ticket armor items, like Replica Breastplate of Valor , are listed at median prices of around gold on mid-population US realm auction houses lower on high-population realms.

As with other high-end transmog items, they can take a while to sell, so don't expect next-day sales. Armor with a broader audience, like Nobleman's Coat and Breath of Talador also 75 tickets each , have lower median US listing prices gold , but may sell faster, especially on roleplay servers. Darkmoon faire pets like the Darkmoon Cub , which all sell for 90 tickets each, have even lower median listing prices g for the cub , but usually sell faster than transmog items on the AH, and offer the advantage that you can buy and learn the pet on one realm, and cage and sell it on a different realm, if you want gold on a different realm.

It has a starting bid of gold. Reported contents range from to Darkmoon Prize Ticket s, and it seems evenly distributed, so probably has around tickets on average. Comment by variien98 Anyone knows if blizzard want to add some new items for this tickets in Legion?

I think that many ppl have tons of them. Comment by magickmann Start saving your tickets boys and girls cause the Darkmoon Dancing Bear is gonna cost tickets!

Comment by deathxelf Hello there! Comment by piraka Here's a list of all sources of Darkmoon Prize Ticket currently in-game. Darkmoon Pet Battle! A New Darkmoon Challenger! At , , , and server time, the Darkmoon Treasure Chest spawns in the Darkmoon Death match, containing 5 tickets. Only 1 player can loot the tickets each time.
